Mankind has progressed much over the millenia, but we have come to think we make and can make a major impact on earth and our environment either positively or negatively. But in reality the powerful force of nature and the elements of our earthly Environment is immensely more powerful than mankind. We have come to think we are godlike in power over earth and this is not so. The natural or God like forces of earth would treat us like minor bug in the event of a natural event or events happen. The power of Mt. St. Helens erupting back in 1980 alone was bigger than any nuclear explosion man had made. If that super volcano beneath Yellowstone was to erupt the power and ability to change, destroy and kill life in much of central north America would blow your mind. Quite simply the climate changes naturally. It does not need our help. The climate is a natural negative feedback loop. We are between two ice ages and nothing we can do one way or another will change this. Of course we as intelligent humans . should practice good stewardship over our air, land and water but to think we drive climate change is assinine and is done for only political, social and economic exploitation over humanity.
