What are you talking about? A mandela effect?

The essential test of a scientific hypothesis is repeated, reproducible, unambiguous, objective verified predictions, and not post hoc rationalizations of events. The geocentric epicycles of planetary motion was more accurate for hundreds of years after heliocentrism was proposed due to the dedicated analysis and continuous revisionism of stalwart ideologues. It should not surprise anyone that climatologists can be ideologically captured if funding is dependent on catastrophizing.

another good segment... oh, "hurricane" Sandy was actually "tropical storm" Sandy, if I remember, much to the disappointment of New York, who wanted that FEMA money.

They've done that with every "hurricane" in my lifetime that has encountered New England. We almost got one last season, but luckily it blew out. The news hypes all the residual rain storms up as "hurricane" to get people to tune in and consume their advertising. Or maybe it is to make people live in a constant state of fear and anxiety.

Climate alarmists will never be right because it isn't about the science.

I well remember the big town newspaper nearest me running letters in the spring of 2012 about how this was it. The debate was over. That spring's warm weather was irrefutable proof of runaway AGW. But then the winter of 2013-2014 turned out to be one of the 10 coldest on record. And the next year, February, 2015, was most likely the coldest month ever recorded by humans in this neck of the woods. Funny, but I don't remember any letters to the paper about global warming in either of those years.

Facts and science are irrelevant if you suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. President Trump dismissed Global Warming and that in the eyes of the sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome that was his biggest evil. What is deranged are followers of global balmy.

"Experts predicted that more than 4.5 billion people could die from global warming by 2012". More than half the total population!!? This took scare-mongering to a new level. Any deaths related to the BS climate crisis WILL be caused by the useless measures imposed to "fight" it, not by the crisis itself. It's like our overlords telling us that zombies are going to attack and we must end civilization as we know it and ingest arsenic in order to prevent having our brains eaten.

Crisis? What crisis?

Hydrocarbons will likely end up being the greatest source of pollutants- well in my opinion. The real danger of global warming is the distraction from this. 200,000+ Americans die every year from the combustion of hydrocarbons pollution and we burn'em cleaner than anyone else, that's just based on ozone and a range of carbon particulate matter sizes. Coal and natural gas spews large volumes of radon into the air which decays into radioactive lead and polonium.

The CO2 thing is a distraction. To keep the focus off of actual pollution. I would argue that industrial chemicals, pesticides and their metabolites, and plasticizers/endocrine disruptors likely lead to more health problems & deaths... But there most definitely is a lot of damage being done by pollution from fossil fuels too. (What are the effects of all the asphalt leeching, tire dust, and road salt, from fossil fuel transportation?)

I wouldn't worry Tony, the world, (apart from the UK) are ignoring this nonsense finally, since if they go for zero carbon they will most likely get taken over by a country that is ignoring this crap, their wind turbines bulldozed and more coal fired power stations popping up.

Not just the UK imo. Here in Ireland the masses have bought into the scam too. Germany is a very obvious victim of it. Virtue signalling by the herd is at a peak. Look in any direction in an urban area and it'll/they'll be visible. "Baby on Board". Hair colours, "I'm with Ukraine", Face Nappies, LGBT, etc.etc. We're fkd. Resilience of the Western masses is Very low. We've been primed to fail.

Malcolm X noted that the media was the most powerful force. The corrupt establishment controls the media. Power corrupts, so here we are.
