The King James is written in modern English, we speak contemporary English. The two of these are the same language. The difference between them, is how we use them. Generally speaking, we omit present tense words, in the way we use the language. So, what the mind does, is it compensates this loss, by using future tense words in the place of present tense words. Eg. The word, have, in Ro:3:23 is future tense. And because we have removed this subtlety from the language, people don't realize that the verse, is talking about god holding sin against people that have/hath not done anything yet. Cos the word, have, in Ro:3:23, is future tense.
